JESSE FOORD - the amaizing lady who survived a gang rape by four scumbags whilst she was walking her dog.
It was an honour to have headlined the show that launched Jesse's P.O.W.A.R. charity which will look after victims of rape in SA.

Footage from the Maiden Years concert in Milan has been edited and is available now on DVD.
This is a PAL DVD which is about 60 minutes long, there is also a bonus video feature and one of my songs on there all be a background tune during the credits.
Remember this is a completely live take on the show, what you hear & see is real. It is an awesome DVD, a magic night to remember!

LIVE IN LA 2008
 Following the launch of JUDAS PRIEST founder AL ATKIN's album - DEMON DECIEVER 'the Sin Sessions' I flew to LA to meet some old friends and was invited to jam with Al in Hollywood - it was an experience I will never forget...LA has go to be the mother of all rock cities.
I absolutely loved it and would do it again given the chance!

Los Angeles was brilliant and I love traveling to see friends in the US.

This trip was special because it was my last with Judas Priest founder Al Atkins.
I also got to meet with Moser legend Neal & his lovely wife Earlleen.

Meeting up with my SA jamming partner Lister Coleman was brilliant.

South Africa launches The Mike de Jager Band in style!

Steel Wings motorcycle club (Durban), Harley Davidson(USA), Marshall Amps (UK), Moser Custom Shop Guitars (USA) and Coastal Music (Durban) put their faith in me to deliver the goods for the P.O.W.A.R. ROCK CONCERT in Hillcrest, South Africa in November 2008.

The band is; Dawn Selby - keyboards & direction, Mali Sewell - drums, Lloyd de Geir - bass and yours truly doing the business out front. We play classic covers and entertain...we keep it simple and our guest singers and musicians are simply the best!

LA ROCKS...my last gig with Al Atkins!

The City of Angels...the City of Dreams ...call it what you may, but this town rocks! It is the Rock Music Capital of the World...it has to be! LA's rich movie history tends to overshadow its deep roots in rock music and music in general. LA is also one of the friendliest ‘super' cities I have ever visited, the locals were really polite and very eager to help. Exiting Bob Hope airport into the city can be a bit daunting, but after an hour or two I soon relaxed and after a day in the saddle, man I was trotting up and down Hollywood Boulevard as though I had lived there all my life.

What an incredible weekend!! ITALY ROCKS!! They are the best metal/rock fans in the world for sure, they have have wine that is divine, the country is stunningly beatiful, the food fresh with pizzas & cappuchino to die for and the people are just so friendly and a pleasure to work with. A huge thank you to the magnificent people who made this mini tour with Dennis such a wonderful experience, Fulvio, Marco, Marco number 2, The Clairvoyants...Marco, Luca, Paolo, Gabriele and Manuel - you guys are the best!
